In the morning we go to the Historical Center of Lima where we visit the Cathedral of Lima; also the Government Palace and the Municipal Palace are located in the same Plaza Mayor. The tour will continue to the famous Casa Aliaga, the oldest mansion in Lima, built by Don Jerónimo de Aliaga in 1535, one of the 13 on the Isla del Gallo and the founder of the city. Today’s lunch will be offered at the Astrid & Gastón restaurant, owned by the famous Chef Gastón Acurio. This restaurant is located in Casa Moreyra, the old house of Hacienda San Isidro, more than 300 years old.
In the afternoon visit to the bohemian neighborhood of Barranco. Visit the Pedro de Osma Museum, renowned for its exceptional collection of Peruvian viceregal art. The museum opened its doors in 1988 and made available to the public the great legacy of Pedro de Osma Gildemeister who acquired numerous representative works of the viceregal art, mostly of Cusco origin, which are housed in a building of French style at the beginning of the twentieth century. Then we will appreciate the famous church of Ermita, the monuments of Chabuca Grande and the horse of Peruvian Paso, we will continue to the Mirador where we will enjoy the famous pisco sour and the traditional Peruvian picarones. Finally we will go through the famous Bridge of Sighs. Return to the hotel.

At the agreed time, transfer to the airport to board the flight to the city of Cusco. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Rest of the morning free to acclimatize to the height.
In the afternoon, visit to the imperial city of Cusco, Cathedral and the Temple of the Sun (Qoricancha). Visit to San Blas, picturesque neighborhood of artisans, as it houses the most renowned artists of the city. Finally visit the Museum of Pre-Columbian Art, in this extraordinary historical monument the history of urban architecture in the imperial city is synthesized. The day will end with an exquisite dinner at the Map Café restaurant. The gastronomic proposal delights the senses with an interesting reinvention of the traditional dishes of Peruvian food, inspired cuisine that seeks to convey the highest expression of national culinary art. Return to the hotel.

Departure to the ranch where we will find our horses and start the ride. On the way, you will enjoy incredible views of the high plateau that surrounds it. Moray is reached, where the ancient inhabitants of the region used four large natural depressions in the area to form different levels of agricultural terraces that served, for hundreds of years, as an experimental agricultural station for the development of different crops. Then we continue the cavalcade towards Maras (3400 m.a.s.l) for approximately one hour. Maras is a typical Andean town that boasts a wonderful colonial church of 400 years old. Includes lunch – picnic.
Return to the hotel and rest of the afternoon free.

Departure to visit the textile center Awanacancha, located in an archaeological area that was an Inca cultivation area, conditioned in the ancestral way and use, recovering and restoring the whole in its natural environment, using mainly mud and stones in a clear allusion to the symbiotic relationship between the culture and nature of the man of the Andes. The visit will continue to the town of Pisac, you will visit the picturesque craft market where you can still appreciate the tradition of exchanging their things or food, as it was done in the past. Lunch will be offered at the emblematic Hacienda Huayoccari, famous property of the Lambarri Orihuela family. The pre-Columbian and viceregal pieces that decorate the place belong to the private collection of the old family. After lunch our visit continues to the Fortress of Ollantaytambo. Here you will visit the most important sectors of the place accompanied by the story told by our guide.

This day will be the highlight of our trip, the visit to the citadel of Machu Picchu. Very early we will depart from the train station of Ollanta towards the majestic city of Aguas Calientes, the travel time is approximately 01 hour 30 minutes.Arrival to the Aguas Calientes town station, from here we will board the buses to ascend to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, one of the 7 wonders of the world. The tour will be 02 hours and 30 minutes and the visit includes the Intihuatana (the Solar Clock), the Palace of the Incas, the Three Windows, etc. At the end of it we will descend to the town of Aguas Calientes to make purchases. Lunch at the Café Inkaterra restaurant. Return to the hotel and dinner.

Free morning and opportunity to visit the citadel again or climb the mountain of Machu Picchu (not included in the itinerary).
At the scheduled time, transfer to the station to board the return train to Ollantaytambo. Arrival and transfer to the hotel in Sacred Valley.

Note: Consider that tickets for Huayna Picchu or a second visit to Machu Picchu are limited, so it is recommended to make the order with a minimum of anticipation or when confirming your reservation in order to avoid lack of availability.

At scheduled time, departure to the city of Cusco. En route we will visit the 4 ruins: Qenqo (ceremonial and ritual center where Inca sacrifices were made), Puca Pucara (old tambo and Inca lookout post), Tambomachay (ceremonial center of water worship) and the Fortress of Sacsayhuaman (place where the main Incas, Inti Raymi and Warachicuy fiestas are held). Lunch included.
