Transfer to the airport to board your flight to the city of Trujillo. Arrival, reception and transfer to the hotel to leave your bags in custody.
In the morning visit the impressive Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, the center of power in the Trujillo Valley during the Moche times. Observe the amazing group of adobe frescoes on one of the walls of the Temple of the Moon, unearthed by archaeologists.
Later visit a traditional family of the Moche Valley, descendant of the Mochica. Then visit the Dragon Temple (Arco Iris), of the Chimú culture. Continue to Huanchaco, an ancient fishermen’s cove where you will appreciate the old boats called “Caballitos de Totora” with which the ancient tradition of artisanal fishing is maintained. Lunch in Huanchaco (not included) and in the afternoon visit to the old citadel of Chan Chan, whose extension is 18 km2 approx. You will enter the Nik-An Palace, located in the southwestern part of Chan Chan, visiting its ceremonial plazas, shrines, reservoirs, granaries, cemeteries, etc.
Return to the hotel and lodging. (-)
Located 34 km north of Trujillo, in the Chicama Valley.
The El Brujo pyramid rises about 98 feet above the desert and covers an approximate area of 330 by 330 feet. It was built by thousands of adobe bricks. Its walls are covered with beautiful reliefs and polychrome wall paintings which represent war motifs, deities, animals, plants and fishing nets.
A few years ago, a well-preserved tattooed mummy corresponding to a young woman of the Moche royalty, called the Lady of Cao, which is exhibited in the Museum of the Lady of Cao, has been discovered inside the pyramid. Return to the hotel and overnight (B).

In the morning, transfer to the airport to board the flight to the Imperial city of Cusco. On the way there will be a panoramic tour of the city to see the beautiful colonial mansions in Trujillo and we marvel at its well preserved and imposing portals, its balconies and churches. Arrival to the city of Cusco, reception and transfer to the hotel. Welcome dinner show at local restaurant.

Free morning to acclimatize to the altitude.
In the afternoon I pick up the Tour of the city of Cusco where we will visit the Cathedral, the Koricancha and the nearby ruins: Qenqo (Ceremonial and Ritual Center, place where the sacrifices were made), Puca Pucara used by the Emperor Pachacutec as tambo), Tambomachay (also called “The Bath of the Inca”) and Fortress of Sacsayhuaman. Return to the hotel. Overnight (B)

In the morning departure for our visit to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will visit the textile center Awanacancha, then we will go to the town of Pisac, here we will visit a picturesque craft market where we can see how until today the locals maintain the tradition of exchanging their things or food, as it was done in the past. Buffet lunch in local restaurant.
Later we will go to the town of Ollantaytambo where we will visit the fortress that bears the same name. Here we will visit the most important sectors of the place, and our guide will give us an explanation about its history. Returning to Cusco, we will visit the town of Chinchero and its small chapel. This day will be the highlight of our trip, the visit to the citadel of Machu Picchu. Very early we will depart from the train station of Ollanta towards the majestic city of Aguas Calientes; the travel time is approximately 01 hour 30 minutes. En route we will appreciate a diversity of natural landscapes according to the existing altitudinal floors, we will arrive at the Aguas Calientes town station, and from here we will board the buses to ascend to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, one of the 7 wonders of the world. We will begin the visit observing the great landscape that surrounds it. The tour will be 02 hours and 30 minutes; at the end of it will descend to the town of Aguas Calientes to make purchases. At the scheduled time, transfer to the station to board the return train to Ollantaytambo. Arrival and transfer to the hotel in Cusco.
