We start the tour in the morning leaving the hotel to head towards Chincha. After an hour’s walk on the Pan-American Highway we will arrive at the Association of Chincha, where we will meet the famous weaving ladies and share a pleasant moment with them, as they will teach us the techniques, forms and use that give the Junco to be able to Make your amazing fabrics and have as a result hats, baskets, wallets, vases or others.
The reed is an aquatic plant that grows on the edge of rivers and lagoons, which make the development of fabrics or crafts, are organic. After the reed harvest the stems are matched and left to dry so that all the water evaporates and it is classified by different thicknesses.
