In the morning we visit the city of Lima. The tour begins visiting the colonial part of Lima and the main buildings of the historic part, thus achieving a better understanding of the city’s past. These main areas include the Plaza San Martín, the Plaza Mayor and the Government Palace. We will continue our visit to the monumental Convent of San Francisco, which is the largest sample of colonial religious art in America. You will appreciate The Choir Room and The Library of the Monks, the Sacristy, with its collection of canvases by Zurbarán and Rivera. The Great Courtyard of the Main Cloister, finely decorated with Sevillian tiles from the 16th century, its beautiful Moorish arches and the Underground Crypts, known as the Catacombs, where you will feel the presence of the colonial past. Lunch on this day will be offered at the Café del Museo restaurant. This restaurant is besieged by beautiful nature, in which fresh air is breathed and beautiful gardens are contemplated, an attractive place that revolves around a lot of culture, art and history for several decades. Then visit the Larco Herrera Museum. The Museum chronologically displays Peruvian pre-Columbian pieces of pottery, lithics and metals such as gold and silver, inside a viceregal mansion from the 18th century. Return to the hotel.

At the agreed time, transfer to the airport of Lima to board the flight to Cusco. Arrival, reception and transfer to the Sacred Valley to begin the visit to the textile center Awanacancha, located in an archaeological site that was an Inca cultivation area, conditioned in the manner and ancestral way, recovering and restoring the whole in its natural environment, using fundamentally mud and stones in a clear allusion to the symbiotic relationship between culture and nature characteristic of the Andean man. The visit will continue to the town of Pisac, you will visit the picturesque craft market where you can still appreciate the tradition of exchanging their things or food, as it was done in the past. Lunch will be offered at the emblematic Hacienda Huayoccari, famous property of the Lambarri Orihuela family. The pre-Columbian and viceregal pieces that decorate the place belong to the private collection of the old family.
After lunch our visit continues to the Fortress of Ollantaytambo. Here you will visit the most important sectors of the place accompanied by the story told by our guide.

You will head towards the Urubamba station to board the Sacred Valley train to the town of Aguas Calientes. You will be delighted with the landscapes of the Sacred Valley from the Observatory Car. On the way you can enjoy a gourmet lunch on board that includes: an entrance, a background and a dessert accompanied by a glass of wine and delicate petit fours. Arrival and reception by your guide who will accompany you to your hotel and explain about the tour the next day.
Rest of the afternoon free. Dinner included in the hotel.

This day will be the peak moment of the trip, the visit to the citadel of Machu Picchu. Very early departure to the bus station to board the bus in regular service to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, one of the 7 wonders of the world. The trip will take approximately 30 minutes. The tour will be 02 hours and 30 minutes and the tour includes a visit to the Intihuatana (the Solar Clock), the Watchtower, the Palace of the Incas, the Three Windows, etc.
Then the bus that descends towards the town of Aguas Calientes is again approached. Lunch at the Café Inkaterra restaurant.
At an appropriate time transfer to the train station to board your Sacred Valley train to Urubamba. Dinner on board.
After 3 hours approximately, arrival at the hotel and overnight. (B, L, D)

Departure to the town of Maras, located in the province of Urubamba at 3,300 masl, from there you can see the Vilcanota mountain range and the snowy peaks, “El Chikón” (5530 masl), “Putukusi” and “La Verónica” (5682) masl). At present, this picturesque town keeps attractions of the pre-Hispanic, colonial and republican period, emphasizing in the town streets and colonial portals with shields of the nobles and caciques of the XVII and XVIII centuries.
Moray is located about 7 kilometers southwest of Maras and 53 kilometers from Cusco with an altitude of 3,385 meters above sea level. These are gigantic natural holes that were used by the Incas who built terraces or agricultural platforms with their respective irrigation channels; it is therefore a greenhouse prototype. This place is where incredible advances were made in agriculture.
Lunch at the “MIL” restaurant of Peruvian chef Virgilio Martinez, who has just been awarded the 2017 Chef Choice Awards.
Finally return to the hotel in Cusco and free afternoon.

In the morning, visit to the imperial city of Cusco, Cathedral and the Temple of the Sun (Qoricancha). The visit will continue to San Blas, passing through the Inca Roca palace, today the Archbishop’s Palace. You will also have time to visit the famous stone of the twelve angles. Lunch at the Chicha restaurant of the renowned Peruvian chef Gastón Acurio.
In the afternoon, visit Qenqo (ceremonial and ritual center where Inca sacrifices were made), Puca Pucara (old tambo and Inca lookout post), Tambomachay (ceremonial center of water worship) and Sacsayhuaman Fortress (place where they are performed). The main Inca fiestas, Inti Raymi and Warachicuy). Return to the hotel. Overnight. (B, L)

Transfer to the airport to board the flight to Lima. Arrival and connection with the international flight. (B)
